The drive to Raymond in the southwest corner of Washington was easy,we went over the Columbia Gorge Bridge in Astoria Oregon which was high and long then it was a short drive to Raymond. We saw Moms relatives and stayed the night before going to Seattle to see my brother Chris and see Seattle.

Getting to Seattle was fun,we took the ferry boat "The Walla Walla" to the city and also fed the sea gullsgulls.jpg

It was an hour ferry ride to Seattle then we drove to our hotel to park and walk to the Seattle Center to see the Space Needle and the other sites in the area. The Space Needle was fun but a bit scary. The elevator zipped us up 520 feet to the observation deck in 40 seconds.the view was great,we could see Mt Rainier from it and the football and baseball stadiumsneedle.jpgrainier.jpg

Then it was off to the monorail that took us to a big shopping mall were we had lunch and walked around but the bad part was we had to walk back because the monorail broke. And last we went to the Experience Music Project which my dad says is the little brother to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fameguitar_tree.jpg and The Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame that my mom liked.Dropped Chris off at the ferry dock and headed back to the hotel to get a good night sleep as we head to Montana.
